What is MyMemo AI?

MyMemo AI is an AI-powered memory assistant that helps you organize, summarize, and retrieve information efficiently. Whether it's fragmented content from learning, work, or daily life, MyMemo provides effective tools for organizing and reusing your information.

What can I add?

MyMemo AI supports a variety of file formats, including weblink, YouTube links, PDFs, Word documents, audio, and images. You can use it to process meeting notes, study materials, and more. Additionally, you can create your own notes within MyMemo.

Why does the file status badge remain as "AI Summarizing"?

This means the file is still in the processing queue and hasn't been completed yet. Common reasons include:

  • The file contains many images or is a scanned PDF, which requires more processing time.

  • There is a high volume of uploads globally, causing a longer queue time.

  • The file is large, which takes more time to process.

Please be patient. If the processing fails, the badge will change to "Failed." In that case, you can right-click on the card, select "Resummarize" from the dropdown menu, or delete the file and re-upload it.

Where are the uploaded files stored?

Your files are securely stored in our AWS cloud database, allowing you to access or process them at any time. We strictly adhere to data privacy policies to ensure your information is protected.

Why are some PDFs processed slower than others?

Processing speed depends on the file's complexity:

  • Image-based or scanned documents require OCR (Optical Character Recognition), which takes more time compared to text-based PDFs.

  • The number of pages, file size, and content complexity also affect processing speed.

What should I do if file processing fails?

If file processing fails, a "Failed" status will appear. You can try the following:

  • Check the file format, size, and page count to ensure they meet the requirements.

  • Split large files into smaller ones and upload them individually (avoid uploading too many files at once).

  • Compress the file or reduce the number of images in it.

  • Re-upload the file, or contact our support team for assistance.

Can I download the generated summaries?

Yes! You can download the generated summaries as PDF or Word documents for easy sharing and offline viewing.

Does MyMemo support multiple languages?

Yes, MyMemo supports processing in multiple languages, including English, French, Portuguese, and more. The system automatically detects the language based on the content of the uploaded file.

How can I share my summarized content?

You can share your content directly from MyMemo:

  • Generate a shareable link with one click.

  • Export the content as a PDF or Word file to send to friends or colleagues.

Why do some webpages fail to process, or show 404 or screenshot validation errors?

MyMemo cannot process the following types of webpages:

  • Pages ending with .php: These are dynamically generated and may cause parsing issues.

  • Pages requiring authentication: For example, content that requires login credentials cannot be directly accessed by MyMemo.

Solutions:
  • PHP pages: Manually copy the content into a text file or make a screenshot and upload it.

  • Pages requiring authentication: Try to use google extension: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/mymemo-web-clipper/acbjeolbnaiecolebdcopocflkljjmhi

What is Memocast, and how does it work?

Memocast is a unique feature of MyMemo that converts your saved content into podcasts, allowing you to listen to them anytime, anywhere. It operates in two ways:

Manual Generation:
  1. Right-click on a Memo or Collection and select "Generate Memocast" to quickly create a podcast.

  2. You can combine single or multiple saved items into one audio file.

Daily Review Memocast:
  1. Automatically generates a podcast based on the content you uploaded the previous day (excluding Notes). This helps you review and organize key information.

  2. You can customize the review cycle (daily or weekly), set notifications, and adjust voice type and speed.

Use Case: Whether for learning, work, or daily life, Memocast helps you utilize fragmented time, such as during commutes or workouts, to stay informed and productive!
